I’ve been around the block a few times when it comes to real estate and, let me tell you, it never gets old. Making a difference in my clients’ lives on a very personal level is one of my favourite parts of being a REALTOR®. Real estate is a far more emotional business than most people realize, which is why my clients value the levity I bring to the table. I care about making our work together as memorable an experience as possible.
about joanne
It’s my goal to make you feel taken care of, informed, and respected throughout the entire process of buying or selling your home. I firmly believe that loyalty and integrity are fundamental attributes that every REALTOR® should have, and you can count on me to fiercely protect your interests during negotiations. I lead with kindness, respect, and a sense of humour—but don’t worry, I still mean business!
People remember me for my sense of humour and the investment I put into my personal and professional relationships. I remember the small but important details.
Jane Fonda is one of my personal icons! She’s been around the block more than a few times but remains beautiful, timeless, funny, and oh so real about herself and the world. She’s an impressive woman.
Music-wise, Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, Dua Lipa, and Miley Cyrus (but not the country version of her!) are on steady rotation right now. I love listening to music while working, cooking, driving and walking. I guess that means there is always music in my life!
Most days you can find me writing lists, planning, setting mini challenges for myself, and working hard to make my clients’ dreams come true!
Outside of work, I love spending time near the ocean, reading a good book, listening to a podcast, or exploring areas throughout the Lower Mainland, with the occasional trip to Vancouver Island.
The things I am most passionate about in life are my dog Mollie, my friends, and my amazing clients.
My ideal day looks like early morning quiet time and coffee with Miss Mollie McGuire (my adorable English Springer Spaniel), running errands, and spending time with clients or friends. From there, I’d stop at Nook for Happy Hour or dinner—the perfect way to wind down at the end of the day.
I’m a self-described homebody but if I had to travel anywhere, I would go to Maui to soak up the sun, beauty, and culture. The fabulous restaurants don’t hurt either! Napa Valley and New York are also high on my list.
I live by the words “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” I always try to lead with kindness, loyalty, and a high degree of care.
