This is another local business I discovered through Instagram. It’s run by an impressive young woman named Bia, who prepares amazing charcuterie spreads for events of all shapes and sizes. I enjoy receiving her weekly emails to order swoon-worthy salads, snack boxes, and more! Plus it’s located in North Burnaby, which is where I grew up.

I love discovering new places when I’m out and about on behalf of my clients. This is exactly how I found Hunni’s, which has since become one of my favourite clothing boutiques! Some things just go together, and doughnuts and love definitely fit the bill. They’re hand-crafted and locally-owned, plus a portion of monthly sales of a featured doughnut is donated to a local charity. A treat for your tummy and the community, who can resist that?

Burrata, prosciutto, bread, gnocchi, red wine, or one of their daily specials will transport you to foodie heaven. They also have the best playlists, so when I want to feel the Nook vibe but can’t be there in person, I jump on Spotify and groove along.

The next time you’re in Maple Ridge, you need to stop by this charming bakery. Taylor’s products are truly exceptional, and I love to see the special treats she makes throughout the year for different occasions like Mother’s Day or Valentines Day. I love gifting active clients a box of her delicious cookies over the holidays (and maybe a few treats for myself).
